Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday: Compared to last week no
comparisons made due to limited comparable sales. Feeder Steers: Medium
and Large 1 400-500 lbs 292.50-310.00; 500-600 lbs 270.00. Feeder
Bulls: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 285.00-315.00; 500-600 lbs 280.00-
300.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1 400-500 lbs 250.00, 500-600
lbs 245.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 112.00-123.00; Boners
80-85% lean 116.00-128.00; High Dressing 137.00-140.00; Lean 85-90% lean
97.00-115.00; Lean Low Dressing 75.00-97.50. Slaughter bulls: Average

Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was not reported. Sows live
price 300-450 lbs 48.22; 450-500 lbs 50.95; 500-550 lbs 56.10.
SC Grain on Thursday. Corn was mostly 9 cents higher; elevator bids
4.06-5.03, processor bids 4.78-5.08. Soybeans were 29 to 35 cents higher;
elevator bids 10.20-11.16, processor bids 12.05, and export 12.16. Wheat
bids were 5 to 9 cents higher; elevator bids 5.41.
Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.89
lower at 72.37.
